Lawn Care

We know what your lawn needs. Ask about our specials when signing up for the annual program.

There are four principal issues to be addressed in a lawn care program:

1. Maintenance – includes fertilization, liming, aeration, de-thatching, renovation and over seeding.
2. Weed Control – includes pre-emergent, post emergent, summer broadleaves and winter broadleaves.
3. Disease Control – includes brown patch, dollar spot, pythium and leaf spot.
4. Insect Control – includes white grubs, chinch bugs, army worms, and sod webworms.

One of Service 1st’s team members will come to your property, evaluate your needs and design a program based on the four principle issues and your goals. We will evaluate your soil type, irrigation needs and turf selection and help you create an environment that ensures your lawn program will be successful.

An annual program of maintenance, weed control, disease control and pest control is the best way to keep your lawn green and healthy.

Single treatments for specific problems are available, but are rarely effective for long term success.

THE BASIC PROGRAM:

Late Winter – Pre and post emergent weed controls with soil nutrients.
Spring – Kick start fertilization with post emergent weed control.
